About the Role
The Superintendent is responsible for leading field operations on commercial interior construction projects, with full accountability for site safety, quality, schedule, and coordination of trades. This role oversees daily construction activities, subcontractor sequencing, inspections, and site logistics to deliver high-end hospitality, restaurant, and retail projects in fast-paced, often operational environments. The Superintendent works closely with Project Managers and project teams to ensure disciplined execution, clear communication, and successful project delivery consistent with Revive Interior Construction’s standards of craftsmanship and accountability.
Requirements
Experience
5 to 10 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
Strong background in interior renovations and build-outs
Hospitality, restaurant, retail, and lifestyle projects highly preferred
Experience managing projects in active or operational environments a plus
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Responsibilities
Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout
Enforce site safety, quality standards, and compliance with project documents
Manage daily subcontractor coordination, sequencing, and manpower
Maintain and drive the construction schedule in coordination with the Project Manager
Coordinate inspections, testing, and authority having jurisdiction requirements
Review drawings and specifications to proactively identify constructability issues
Oversee site logistics, access, deliveries, and cleanliness
Maintain accurate daily reports, schedules, and field documentation
Manage punchlists, turnover, and closeout activities
Qualifications
Strong understanding of commercial construction means and methods
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Experience with hospitality-grade finishes, millwork, and specialty installations
Working knowledge of safety requirements and site compliance
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
Detail-oriented with strong field problem-solving skills
Leadership & Communication
Strong leadership presence on-site
Ability to direct subcontractors and hold teams accountable
Clear and professional communication with project teams and clients
Collaborative mindset with Project Managers and leadership
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
OSHA 30 certification preferred
Additional safety or trade certifications a plus
Equivalent field experience will be considered
